Vets rely on income from insured pets but frequently have little involvement in the promotion of pet insurance. Whilst Vetsure policy holders can use any veterinary clinic and referral centre they are heavily incentivised to use Vetsure practices wherever possible through preferential terms (e.g. lower excess) and the inclusion of preventative health benefits that can only be claimed at affiliated clinics. Vetsure work increasingly with carefully selected Referral Centres that offer a combination of clinical excellence and value for money. Vets working at Vetsure-affiliated practices are also invited to apply to become a Vetsure ‘Partnered Consultant’ attracting new streams of work from other Vetsure clinics.
