Vets working at Vetsure-affiliated practices with a particular area of expertise are invited to apply to become a Vetsure 'Partnered Consultant' attracting new streams of work from other local Vetsure clinics. Partnered Consultants are not viewed as a replacement for RCVS Specialists but offer an 'intermediate level' of expertise that may not be available in a small Vetsure general practice clinic. Vets working at Vetsure-affiliated practices may choose to use Partnered Consultants or RCVS Specialists dependent on the needs of the client and patient. Another important aspect to the role of the 'Partnered Consultant' is to provide guidance and advice to other Vetsure vets on case management. Vetsure Partnered Consultant lists can be found on the Vetsure website to help vets and policy holders make informed decisions.
