I have great pleasure in providing details of our next Think Tank event to be held on the 14th/15th March at the Leicester Marriot.   After two incredibly successful Think Tank events last year we wanted to offer a new angle to the group.  In this Think Tank, ‘It’s all about the people!’.  As such we will focus on three cornerstones to your business: leadership, team motivation and delivery of service offering that is aligned with the needs of the client and not necessarily, what vets and vet teams want to deliver.  We understand that the latter statement may be seen by some as somewhat controversial, but the purpose of Think Tank is indeed, to stimulate debate, different thinking and an honest appraisal of all our businesses.

To this effect we have sought the help of a new consultant who has come to us very highly recommended.   Larry Shulman MBA works in leadership and organisational development with clients across all sectors having held previous roles in Human Resources and Change Management with Tesco and Coca Cola.   His clients have included: NHS Trusts, Microsoft, Her Majesty's Prison Service, Village Vet Group, The British Red Cross and Barclays amongst many others.

The event is sponsored by Pfizer Animal Health and key individuals from their Vet Support Team will join to help facilitate the event and to deliver the output of the event back in your practice.  This sponsorship means that one practice staff member of Total Vet Buying Group practices using Pfizer products will attend free of charge.   For all other delegate the event is subsidised to a price of £250 + VAT per person.   As usual, we have an 'early-bird' 10% discount for anybody registering before 15th February.
